Contrary to the worldly mindset that teaches the principle of "Seeing is Believing", we as Christians ought to practice the opposite.

How? By living our lives as an exercise of faith, according to what God says in Scripture.

Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." 

Some of us may have a vision or a dream they lift up to God in prayer. Others may be in the midst of a storm they long to be delivered from.

In each of these scenarios, it requires an exercise of faith to believe that God is working in His infinite power, goodness, grace and mercy to answer our prayers in line with His will.

Faith is the key that opens our understanding to the Christian life. We are to be SAVED by faith; to STAND by faith; to WALK by faith; to RUN by faith; to FIGHT the good fight of faith by faith; to PRAY by faith; to LIVE by faith.  Indeed, we are to do ALL that we do by faith in Christ. 

Hebrews 11:6 - "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek Him."
